How to Blog Effectively

Some quick stats, 45% of the internet community is currently blogging and it is estimated that by the year 2013 that this percentage will increase to 58%. There is a market out there that loves to use this channel to converse with friends, businesses, and clients.

So what is a blog, how does it work and what does it all mean?

Blogs = Have two objectives; (1) Allows you to quickly create and publish new content. This helps in name and website recognition on Google and other search engines. (2)It also allows your viewers the opportunity to leave feedback on whatever content that has been posted. Both of these objectives work together to boost your internet presence.

Here are several components of Blogs:
• Post (dominant part of the blog) this helps to set the tone and position of your blog. Remember to write about what your consumers or viewers want to know. Don’t make the mistake of making the blog about you or your company.

• Comment (Second component of a blog) this is the second part of a blog. The goal is receive as many comments and increase interaction between you and your consumer. Make your blog personal by addressing your consumers by first name and when you give responses make sure to leave your first name or user name. This helps to make your atmosphere more friendly and inviting. Some blogs also provide pictures and bios of the individuals that handle the blogging for a company; this is also a good tool for it adds value to the site and makes the site to be more comfortable.

• Headers: helps to give users more access to the entire blog and it also sets the first impression and tone of the entire blog site.

I hope this helps to clarify some of the confusion on this topic, please feel free to leave feed back and thanks for reading.
